Easy to use, works well, with sharp blades. Love that it comes with 2 bottles so you can mix different drinks or sauces at the same time. Great quality blender!

Mixer good, but quality of frozen tubes are not good.
Mixer ia very good! But the ice tubes they send to keep drinks frozen is damaged after 1 month of use. It expanded in the freezer.

Must have item in your kitchen
This is my absolute favourite. I have bought it several times and even given it as a gift to my friends. Ideal for smoothies, cold coffees, lassi, milk shakes, vegetable juices. You name it and it can make it!

I love my little blender, and that’s a surprise to me as I rarely fall in love with an appliance. Well, I mean I did fall in love with a kettle recently (Bosch TWK3A033GB Village Kettle, sold on Amazon but bought elsewhere) but you can understand that because it’s tall, dark and handsome and actually works. But to fall in love with a blender? I mean, what has a blender got going for it? Well, let’s see – it makes brilliant smoothies, it makes a cool sound when it blends like the first triumphant yell in Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song (yes, that’s a plus for me), it can handle root ginger, it doesn’t mind when I miss the opening and dribble orange juice and yoghurt down its sides (well, hey – we all have our faults), and it’s a doddle to clean.This blender can handle fruits, root vegetables if cut up into small pieces, grapes with skins on, and much more.It takes up to 600ml which is enough for three full glasses or two and a half large mugs. Apart from the base unit and blade attachment, it comes with two beakers and two screw-on lids with open/close parts. It’s very easy to use, you just drop your ingredients into one of the beakers, tightly screw on the blade attachment (too loose and it’ll leak), turn the beaker upside down and sit it, with the blade unit facing down, in the base being careful first to align the arrows on the blade unit with the base unit. Then you turn it on at the plug and press down on the beaker a few times, holding it down each time for a few seconds or more. You can, instead, twist it clockwise to let it work hands-free, but I haven’t found this necessary.The washable parts of the unit are easy to clean providing you wash them as soon as you’ve poured or drunk your smoothie. Mostly they just need a quick rinse under the tap, but to better wash them, put a tiny bit of washing up liquid in the beaker and add some water, then screw the blade unit onto the beaker and manually give them a good shake. Then unscrew both and rinse them well under the tap and just sit them somewhere to air-dry. Apparently they are dishwasher safe too, but as I don’t use one, I can’t comment on that.I’ve made six smoothies since I’ve had it (not quite a week) and I’m very happy with it.Any downsides to this apart from my shopping bill being higher from the increase in fruit, veg and yoghurt? Just a few small ones: 1. The beakers are too tall for my fridge shelves (I could put them in the door but it’s always full of other things).2. I find the ‘handles’ on the beaker lids get in the way and aren’t necessary as the beakers are narrow enough to hold normally.3. It would have been nice if the beakers were marked with more than just the 600ml mark, then it would be easy to see at a glance how much liquid you’re adding. Maybe Russell Hobbs will consider that for later models.Finally, here’s the recipe for the delicious smoothie I made for myself yesterday and which I shall probably make again today as it was so nice: you’ll need the juice of one large sweet orange, eight or ten whole green seedless grapes, a large banana broken into small pieces, three teaspoons of maple syrup, three very heaped teaspoons of live greek-style yoghurt, and about an inch of milk. Blend.
