Serves the purpose
It takes time to cook.. good enough for simple cooking.. serves the purpose for cooking for 2 people. Cooking for survival mode. As it’s a split of 1500 watts and 700 watts it takes about 20 mins to boil 500 ml of milk. Like wise other stuff.. but comes in handy. Small compact and neat to see. Stable.

I needed something to supplement the microwave while I while I’m renovating the kitchen, so happily I settled for the Russell Hobbs hob. Although the dimensions are given in the description, I was impressed with the size when I took it out of the box. It felt – and looked – well made.In use I’ve found the heat very controllable; I can put some pasta on the small ring on ‘Min’ and it will cook without boiling over in the time it takes me to have a shower. The larger ring is equally controllable.The photo gives an idea of the sizes of pan that I’ve used together; the larger one is 28cm in diameter and the smaller pan is 16.5cm.Obviously, after cooking there will be residual heat, so best to keep small fingers (and your own!) well away until it cools down.

Realised I did not use my cooker much so tried this instead.Great alternative to owning a cooker. Takes up less space, easy to clean after use. If needed, I can put away.

This has been a great hob and we have been using it for a few months now, we donât have an oven so this is our only hob.Great to store away to save space when not in use.There isnât an on/off switch on the appliance. You can only really turn it off at the wall. I was aware of this when buying but it really does cause problems sometimes! Even when you âthinkâ you have turned the knob down far enoughâ¦sometimes you probably didnât! It has been left on a few times because of this. I appreciate that this can be down to user error but it would be great if it just had an on/off somewhere 🙂

Great bit of kit, only downside I can think of is it takes a bit of time to cool down so need to be careful
